Windows Installed Programs

Reads installed-program name, version, publisher, and standard Windows uninstall-registry location. It does not read documents or secrets, change installed software, or remain running.

Evidence boundary

Installation is only an observation

An installed program is not proof of use, a paid subscription, granted permissions, data access, or product capabilities. Stewardence keeps those facts Unknown until specific evidence or a person establishes them.

Versioned release

StewardSensors 0.2.0

StewardSensors is delivered as a single Windows executable. Its embedded installation profile is cryptographically signed, and the setup process verifies the sensor executable and module manifest before collection runs. No PowerShell script or execution-policy change is required.

The installation profile is signed for integrity, but this release does not yet carry a commercial Windows Authenticode publisher certificate. Windows may therefore show an unknown-publisher warning.
